Founded in 2006, The Association of Texas Appraisers was formed to provide reasonably priced, convenient continuing education and professional networking opportunities for real estate appraisers and other interested parties within the State of Texas; to establish and maintain minimum requirements for membership; to confer membership designations to properly qualified appraisers; and to serve the needs of its members.

    ATA’s DFW Area Meeting will be held on June 16 at the Hampton Inn DFW South, 4201 Reggis Court, Ft Worth, Texas, 76155.

    The meeting schedule will be:

    • Friday Morning:  8:00 a.m. to Noon-Understanding and Supporting Adjustments.  Your instructor is Steve Kahane, ATA-R
    • Friday Afternoon:  1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.-The Life of An Appraisal-What Happens Next?  Your instructor is Pam Teel, ATA-G.
    • Friday evening:  6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.-DFW Area Social (Legacy Hall - 2nd floor Tonic Bar & Lounge, 7800 Windrose Ave, Plano)

    Attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow appraisal professionals at the Friday continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.

    Who Should Attend

    Anyone who needs to stay on the leading edge of appraisal issues, as well as professionals who are responsible for keeping appraisal processes in compliance.

    Registration Fees

    The fee to attend this meeting is $100 for ATA members and $200 for non-members.  (Fees increase $20 14 days before the meeting.)

    Registration with payment must be received at least five business days in advance of the event to guarantee your registration. If you have not received an e-mail confirmation one week prior to the conference, please call ATA at (210) 837-7123, M-F, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. to confirm your registration.
