WELCOME TO THE ASSOCIATION OF TEXAS APPRAISERS

Founded in 2006, The Association of Texas Appraisers was formed to provide reasonably priced, convenient continuing education and professional networking opportunities for real estate appraisers and other interested parties within the State of Texas; to establish and maintain minimum requirements for membership; to confer membership designations to properly qualified appraisers; and to serve the needs of its members.

    ATA is will host a regional appraiser social event on Thursday, January 23 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Walk-On's Bistreaux & Bar, 1400 Pantheon Way, San Antonio, TX 78232.

    Registration is not required but it's recommended.

    ATA’s Rio Grande Valley meeting will be held January 30-31 (Thursday and Friday) at the IBC Training Facility (1009 N I Road) in Pharr.  The following events will be held at this meeting:
    • Thursday afternoon - 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. - Appraiser’s Guide to the Income Approach
    • Friday - 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. - 2020-2021 7-Hour USPAP Update Course (Each attendee must have their own copy of the 2020-21 USPAP Document—no sharing allowed.  You can purchase a copy from ATA or you can pre-order a copy {hard copy, PDF or both} from the Appraisal Foundation.)

    The instructor for this meeting is ATA's Vice President, Pam Teel, ATA-G.

    Attendees will have the opportunity to network with fellow appraisal professionals at the Friday continental breakfast, breaks and lunch.

    Who Should Attend

    Anyone who needs to stay on the leading edge of appraisal issues, as well as professionals who are responsible for keeping appraisal processes in compliance.

    The fee to attend this meeting is $150 for ATA members and $300 for non-members.  (Fees increase $20 14 days before the meeting.)  There is also a $75 fee for the USPAP Document.

    Registration with payment must be received at least five business days in advance of the conference to guarantee your registration. If you have not received an e-mail confirmation one week prior to the conference, please call ATA at (210) 837-7123, M-F, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. to confirm your registration.
